State Court Certified Russian Interpreter

Immigration law is complicated and often illogical. There is lots of jargon and abbreviations. Some simple terms don't mean the same things as what they mean in plain English or two terms that seem to mean the same thing actually mean different things. We will try to make sense of it.

Biography of Presenter
Gennady Bronshteyn was born and grew up in Leningrad, in the former Soviet Union, where he studied at Rimsky-Korsakov Music College. Gennady immigrated to the United States in 1989 and later graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Music with a bachelor’ s degree in music education. Gennady began working as an interpreter in 1996 and passed the state court certification exam in 2001. For fourteen years now he has been working as a freelance interpreter in state, federal and immigration courts. Presently, Gennady is a 2nd year student at William Mitchell College of Law.
